I missed the festival, is there any way to watch the events back?

Yes! Simply visit each stage via the main festival map on the home page and watch back the events would you like to see.

What is a Festival of Fostering?

It is a unique 1-day online programme of events brought to you by National Fostering Group. Live, interactive and also pre-recorded events for you to watch via the dedicated website www.festivaloffostering.co.uk

 

Do I have to pay for the festival and to view the events?

The Festival and all our Festival events are completely free.

 

Will I need to have my camera and microphone on for the events?

You will be able to watch all of our events without having to have your camera or microphone on. During most events there will be an opportunity to submit your questions through a chat facility.

 

What is an online event?

An online event is a live or sometimes pre-recorded video that you can watch and interactive with. Each event will be slightly different, but the aim is for each event to be interesting and informative. The host of each event will tell you how you can interact live with the guest speakers.

 

How do I watch the live events?

All of the events will be on the Festival of Fostering website; www.festivaloffostering.co.uk. You will simply be able to visit the website, click on the stage where the event is being hosted, sit back and watch at the scheduled time for each event.

 

Will I need to download anything to watch the events?

No, all of the events will go live and appear as part of the web page.

 

Do I need to register to attend?

You can register to attend; this means you will find out all of the latest information first. But you can also just tune in and watch live on the day.

 

What time will the events be live?

There will be a full line up and schedule available on the Line up & Schedule page of the website. Each event will be listed alongside the time and stage they will be live from.

 

Can I speak to someone about fostering now?

You can speak to a member of our team on 0330 022 9135 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You can submit your details to request a call back via our website.

 

What if I have any questions about one of the events before the day?
